Installation Guidelines
Positioning: Install on the top or side of the water heater, ensuring the temperature-sensing element is immersed within the top 6 inches of the tank.
Pipeline Setup: Attach an elimination pipeline under the relief valve, with the terminal station at least 6 inches above the floor drain for easy removal and water observation.
Orientation: Can be directly installed on the top or side of the water heater.
Maintenance Instructions
Annual Check: Lift the relief valve handle at least once a year to ensure the waterway remains unblocked.
Safety Precautions: Verify that the elimination pipeline directs hot water to a safe location to prevent bodily injury.
Valve Inspection: If no water flows when the handle is lifted, the valve may be faulty. Immediately turn off the water heater and inspect or replace the valve.
