Kastom Solar 200Ltrs Pressurized Solar Water Heater (Heat Pipe) uses evacuated tube collectors with heat pipe technology. This design is highly efficient even in cloudy or low‑sun conditions because the vacuum tubes minimise heat loss and the heat pipes transfer energy rapidly to the water tank. The system is pressurized, connecting directly to mains water for strong flow. The tank is made of SUS304 stainless steel with polyurethane insulation, and the unit is WARMA‑compliant for borehole water.

How it works:
Each evacuated tube contains a heat pipe – a sealed copper pipe with a small amount of working fluid. Solar radiation heats the fluid, which vaporises and rises to the condenser (heat exchanger) at the top of the tube, transferring heat to the water in the tank. The condensed fluid returns to the bottom of the tube to repeat the cycle.
